Westman, MD, is one of the best books about all of the health benefits of the keto diet. Additionally, it disproves the myths about a low-carb and high-fat diet.

The book they wrote before this, called Cholesterol Clarity: What the HDL is Wrong with My Numbers?, is also a phenomenal resource for really understanding the facts about cholesterol and fat. Both books were written with the contribution of many doctors, medical professionals, and health experts.

  • No, fat will not make you fat.
  • Dietary fat does NOT lead to heart disease. In fact, the right types of fat (which include animal fat and other healthy saturated fat) will strengthen the health of your heart.
