Serrapeptase: What You Need to Know

 In Supplements

Introduction

A purple and pink background with some blackSerrapeptase (serratiopeptidase) is an enzyme silkworms produce. It breaks down proteins, which makes it useful for decreasing inflammation and swelling.

Benefits of Serrapeptase

Serrapeptase targets specific problem sites in the body directly and binds to them. In the process, it can eliminate:

  • Cysts
  • Fibroids
  • Inflammation
  • Mucus
  • Pain
  • Swelling

Additionally, serrapeptase reduces the chances of a heart attack or cardiovascular disease by breaking down molecules that are stifling blood flow. Therefore, it can increase blood flow.

Taking serrapeptase on a regular basis has also been clinically proven to reduce:

  • Blood clotting by breaking down harmful tissue and fibrin
  • Infections by preventing bacteria from creating protective biofilms around themselves (biofilms are a defense mechanism/protection bacteria creates for itself so that they can survive in your body)
  • Lockjaw
  • Respiratory issues by lowering the frequency of coughing and decreasing the amount of sputum and mucus
  • Swelling, especially after surgery and injuries

LADIES LISTEN UP: Serrapeptase can dissolve cysts or fibroids when taken regularly. The recommended does is 10mg three times daily for at least four weeks.

It can also eliminate hydrosalpinx, a condition in which the end of the fallopian tube becomes fluid-filled and swollen, which can cause infertility.

How to Take Serrapeptase

  1. A typical starting dose is between 80,000 and 250,000 IU/10 mg per day.
  2. You MUST take serrapeptase  on an empty stomach. If you consume it too close to a meal, your body will use it to digest the food instead of the problem areas. Additionally, the protein from your meal won’t be absorbed by your body.
  3. Take a dose before bed. If you wake up to pee in the middle of the night take another dose, then take one first thing in the morning.
